Mind-games in roleplaying literally drive me crazy. *Gets shot*
My gosh, I love saying the names of the Okami villages and characters. Lol, Shinshu. Issun. Shiranui. Waka. Orochi.
Speaking of Orochi - you have to fight that thing THREE DAMN TIMES. It's stupid bleeding underbelly (scraped raw and bloody), it's stupid 8 heads (each with the power of a different element - fire, water, electricity, earth, wind, darkness, poison, sun). Having to feed it the stupid 8 Purifying Sake. So it gets drunk and dazed. That's seriously a strange way to defeat a boss. |

I can't understand it. While I should be doing one-pagers, I'm not. What the heck is going on? Am I that lazy? The conclusion I have come to is "yes." Indeed, I am that lazy. Although...I did accomplish the *wonderous* task of completing the one-pager for Chapter 26, and beginning the Chapter 27 one-pager. It's probably a good thing that we have a lot of time to finish them. =/
What annoys me is I did that entire US History outline last night. If only I had known the circumstances, I could have procrastinated a lot more than I did. In fact, I could have waited until tomorrow to start since we won't have the schedule again until Friday.
Dang do I hate being stuck at home all day with my family. And they were sold out of the Nintendo DS again, even the freaking pink one. That means I can't play Pokemon Mystery Dungeon, and it wouldn't have a point if I got Partners in Time...Which I really wish I owned, since it has Fawful in it and Fawful is great.
Oh, by the way--I'm getting a C in Wellness Walking. Would you like to know how? It's called "Pop Quiz" and "Notebook Check." I don't ever prepare for knowing the muscles, nor do I have an organized notebook. No, indeed. It didn't help that our teacher only flipped through the notebook. Why? Well, we have to record our mileage on a "100 Mile Chart" that consists of boxes the form the number 100. I had the tact to write all of my mileage information upside down on the last 0 instead of rightside up on the 1. That made her think I didn't have anything written. She said she's gonna change it, though. xD
Anyway, I'm probably going to do more one-pagers now, as opposed to anything fun I might have thought of doing. In fact, I have the strange theory that the remainder of the day will be stupid. Hmm... ;D |

Just thought it was about time I updated this stupid thing. So, how's everyone's exam prep coming? Mine = ZERO. I'm going to fail everything, and it's going to be pretty damn funny because I probably deserve it. =/
So I have art and SAT Prep exams tomorrow.
Art will be easy, as it consists of little else besides a powerpoint and random ranting about art stuff that I can easily make up.
I'm not sure what the SAT Prep exam consists of, but I have the feeling that we already took it...I guess I'm safe on those days, then...
Is it 1 and 4 again on Wed?
If so, I'll be having the Exerobics and English exams.
I think that Exerobics is open notebook, but I'm not quite sure.
I'm not quite sure that I can imagine the English exam being hard. It's statewide, thank the Lord. =)
Then on Thursday, maybe it's AP U.S. History and Precalc?
For US, we're allowed to cram mass amounts of notes onto one piece of paper. If I can organize that piece of paper well and manage to not spend hours looking for each answer, then maybe this test won't be so hard. Sadly, I can imagine myself just winging it. That would be a virtual tragedy. >:O (What would this one consist of, like 21 chapters of names, dates, and treaties? *dies a horrible, bloody death* O.o;) The Precalc test is gonna be a b*tch. Does anyone else always forget the content from the early math chapters? PSHAWWWWWW...
Lastly would be Spanish and Environmental, then...
Spanish, according to our teacher, is not something that can be prepared for. That way, I can fail it with absolutely no guilt! =)
Environmental is probably doomed to be a beast. His tests are so hard. I just love imagining myself trying to memorize all those vocab words from the beginning of the year; such as all that "sustanability" stuff that we did.
Yep, I'd pretty much like to say that I'm doomed to failure. YESSSSS.
Now, to be stupid and concentrate on non-school-related things. XDDD |

Those animated animal movies are pretty good. I also have the urge to go to Coldstone, but I don't think we will since we went last week.

Very good times today, again. =3 Umm...Friendly's was very fun, especially with "the sound," and that random guy who everyone thinks is a perv or something. XD
Alyson's house was fun, too! @_@ I really enjoyed playing Clue and having everyone freak out about foosball(sp?) and attack Uno! Even HORSE was fun, not excluding everyone having fits because there was a toad too close to the Four-Square court. O_o'
I'm sure everyone enjoyed the fact that there were random people standing under the streetlight, and apparently a tree fell across the road from where we were. Very bizarre, yet amusing at the same time. We should do stuff like this on weekends more often. It rocks deh house, yo. ^____^ |

Alright, so I got sick of the last entry and decided to post nothing more. If y'all wanna see pics of the Barrens and stuff, you're gonna have to wait for me to show them to you some other time. O_o
ANYWAY...
Going to the river today was beyond enthralling. It was wonderful, in fact. Actually, it was kind of pointless. I realized today that I couldn't care less about sediment, igneous rocks, meander bends, macroinvertebrates, etc. Taking pictures of a river is a stupid summer project, if you ask me. Too bad I have about two million more things to do, as it is. >_> Did anyone happen to get the time of day and other important information, by the way? I seem to have misplaced my ability to think, which probably would have told me to remember the crucial information.
I still have three more notecards to finish up tonight, at which point I'll be up to 1919. It'll probably take me another two or three days to finish.
On the agenda tomorrow is...nothing?! I'm actually doing nothing tomorrow, unlike what I've been doing for the last week. It's actually depressing. "Luckily" for me, I work Sunday. Yippee skip. Pork slabs, mashed "po-ta-ters" and gravy for dinner Sunday night. Let's whip out the 'ol milk churn and have Pa play his guitar in the barn. There's gonna be a party, indeed.

Just wanted to update...hmm...well, since Laura and Alyson are going to be away tomorrow, I'll have to be all alone. Unless I call on a non-lj pal. That would be sad. XD So, I know Alyson doesn't want to hear more about everyone's favorite subject...XD...But...
I'd just like to say that episode 19 of Fullmetal Alchemist is apparently on tomorrow, which gives me a great amount of joy. You see, I have episode 19 on DVD, and...I have not yet gotten to watch it with caption. =_= Well, I have gotten to watch it with the DVD caption, but that's bad. As I have said, they'll have the English words and then the literal Japanese translation. So it'll be like "It's a good day, isn't it?" And the caption will say, "Nice weather we're having, don't you think?" It's actually quite annoying. So far I haven't gotten to see enough episodes with the English captions.
And I love the FMA English dub! Not that I obsess over dubs or anything, but the voices (for the most part) are better. The only character I'm a little iffy about is Envy, but that's to be expected since he's played by a woman. =D
On another note, I'll be going to Driver's Ed again on Monday since I skipped day one. As a positive note, I actually passed the test on day 9! I missed two out of twenty, which was the max you could miss. ^____^ My final was a 98%, I believe. O_o' I can't believe I missed something on an easy test like that. >_> |
